Welcome to my new newsletter…

Golfing Success and Sport Performance
As you may have seen on the Blog, one of my clients who has a passion for golf has had tournament success following a session I did around relaxation in competition! This was wonderfully rewarding for me as I really enjoy the sports performance side of my practice. Enabling a sportsman or woman to overcome their demons and to play to their full ‘inner game’ potential unaffected by the ‘performance pressure’ around them feels very very good for me.

Going forward I had a meeting this week where this aspect of my work was discussed and opportunities in both Golf and Rugby are now before me.

If you are interested to know more and perhaps would like a programme devising around your own game then do get in touch. Remember if its good enough for Tiger Woods and a whole host of top sports performers then just maybe its good enough for you!

Mind Business
I have noticed an upsurge in client referrals where stress and emotional difficulties arising in the workplace are a theme. These clients may be originally presenting with physical symptoms, weight gain or loss, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Insomnia, skin disorders or may present with anxiety or depression. On initial consultation together we often find that the presentation has its origins in the workplace.

Addressing how we deal with work and the situations, pressures, and interpersonal dynamics we find there can alleviate the distress and in turn see the physical symptoms abate. Given this I will shortly be adding a new page to my website called ‘Mind Business’.

If you think you may be experiencing difficulties that have their routes in the workplace or perhaps you know or employ someone who is then do get in touch and we can discuss a programme tailored to your needs.

Dress size is such a minefield!
Time to hold my hand up! I thank ‘J’ from Lytham who is doing wonderfully well!! (Congratulations on your 1 stone down and going well!)

‘J’ pointed out to me that in a recent Blog, the one about Xmas and the little black dress, that I had referred to reducing dress size from a 14 to a 10. Quite rightly ‘J’ pointed out that for many women getting down to a size 14 or higher would be an achievement they would celebrate! She felt I might have put people off contacting me if they thought my focus was on these smaller sizes.

I think ‘J’ was right and I thank her for challenging me.

I will be mindful of this going forward and of course I work with a whole range of women and men who have different aims and ambitions around their weight. The bottom line for me is that if I can help you feel better about yourself, feel healthier, happier, then we have together ‘a result!’

Complementary Cancer Therapy
I have had good interest in this and positive feedback from recipients. This is both challenging and rewarding work and I am hopeful of the referral levels and direct client bookings growing as word gets out. Locally I will be doing a feature in the press. I will post this on the website when it has been published.

And Finally!

I am off on leave for a while now. I trust the sun will shine and the wine will flow …in moderation!

My son Jamie will be keeping an eye on the emails. My phone will be switched off as I practice what I preach and have some ‘me’ time.

See you soon..
