Trio of Success
On Tuesday 12th November a wonderful trio of success came to my clinic… Bet 4 stone down, and Dee and Dee… mum and daughter having lost 30lb and 28inches and 19lb and one dress size respectively! All three had a chat and enjoyed sharing their success stories. Boy and can they talk!! lol! Anyhow they expressed a willingness to go on the radio with me which I will look to my PR guru Gareth to follow up on!
Seriously though, it would make a very interesting and entertaining radio feature as each has their own tale to tell and different aspects of the programme they engaged in with me worked to one degree or another. This is where I find I have to be, and indeed want to be, responsive to the reality that what works for one client wont necessarily work for another.
However Happy Days as all are doing great and will continue to do so! Liverpool Rocks!

Ok so I am now, having been dragged into the modern world, engaging in the wonderful world of Twitter. I am getting my head around ‘twittering’… Sorry I stand corrected… ‘tweeting’… Slowly but surely, and have a growing number of people following me…

Whalley
I now have this clinic confirmed for me and I will in the next couple of weeks be finalising clinic dates and indeed when the clinics start! Being realistic I think a January start is likely given the pending festivities etc.
Starting in January also allows me some time to develop and finalise, along with Dr Mary Adams, the Diabetes Type 2 programme we will be offering.
In the meantime if you are interested in seeing me in Whalley, or indeed wish to know more about the D2 programme do get in touch.
Examinations & Student Pressures
It’s strange isn’t it how with the ebb and flow of referrals ‘themes’ come along. At the moment I am seeing a number of younger clients who are in the throes of study either at University or College.
Anticipatory anxiety and the fear of fear itself, often generated by one bad experience can significantly compromise a students potential and success. Often the work I do together with such clients is to help them understand in the first instance this fear and then to look at strategies to manage anxiety and stress and to actually turn such energy to their advantage…. see my blog for more!

Christmas
I am presently working on some hypnotherapy sessions called ‘The Meldrew Christmas Survival Programme’. These sessions are designed to mitigate the overwhelming and pervasive impact of this religious?!?!?! season… Hopefully respondents will return to full conscious awareness in the New Year with little or no recall of the wonders of Xmas…
If you would like to know more about this programme then you like me are obviously waiting for January to get here sooner rather than later!
